This is actually two Mancini albums on one CD: Debut! Henry Mancini Conducting the Philadelphia Orchestra Pops & Henry Mancini Conducts the London Symphony Orchestra in a Concert of Film Music. Anyone looking for these albums on CD would probably be unaware of that fact by the title of this collection. I stumbled on this welcome surprise looking for the Beaver Valley Suite. Another fact that the album description fails to mention is that the CD is in Dolby Surround Sound. The Beaver Valley Suite is worth the price of admission. Everything else is icing on the cake.
